Self-Care Across the Cycle, a Calm Map

Cycle aware self care does not have to be a programme. It can be one small practice per phase, repeated quietly across the month. Here is a map you can use as it suits you.

Menstrual phase. Rest is the practice. Soften your schedule where you can. Warm food. Warm drinks. A heating pad. Less screen time after dark. If you feel low energy, that is the phase speaking, not a failure of will. This is the week to receive rather than perform.

Follicular phase. Energy returns slowly. This is a good week for small starts: a walk you have been meaning to take, a meal you have been meaning to cook, a conversation you have been postponing. Build, but do not rush. The body is rebuilding reserves underneath, even if you cannot see it.

Ovulatory phase. This is often the most outward week of the month. People feel more sociable, more focused, more communicative. Use it for the conversations and projects that ask for clear voice. Stay hydrated. Notice that this peak is brief, and pace yourself, even when you feel strong.

Luteal phase. The body begins to draw inward again. Sleep can shift. Patience can thin. Choose fewer commitments where possible. Feed yourself warm meals. Move gently. If irritability rises, treat it as information, not a personal flaw. The week is asking for room.

A simple practice for any phase: each evening, write one word for the day. Tired. Settled. Tender. Bright. Restless. After two months, your own pattern shows itself without effort.

If you would like a session that meets you in the phase you are in this week, the Mini Session is passive and 29 minutes. You receive it at home, resting or sleeping. Pricing is in draft and confirmed before booking.

Next step. Choose one practice for the phase you are in today. If a quiet hour of support would help, you are welcome to book a Mini Session.
